Career
Anna Richardson began her television career as a journalist on Channel 4’s popular breakfast show, The Big Breakfast. Her down-to-earth style and wit quickly gained attention and led to her hosting various shows, including Love Bites for ITV, which became an award-winning series. Anna received a nomination at the ‘RTS Awards’ for her work on the show. She went on to present other shows such as Love Bites Back, Dream Ticket, Des Res, and the entertainment series Big Screen on ITV. The latter show provided her with the opportunity to interact with high-profile Hollywood celebrities.
Between September 2008 and August 2011, Anna presented five series of Channel 4’s The Sex Education Show, alongside Dr. Radha Modgil. During this time, she also hosted eleven episodes of the television documentary series Supersize vs Superskinny (2008-2009) and the television series My Big Fat Diet Show (2010).

Libel Lawsuit Against Arnold Schwarzenegger & His Aides
Anna Richardson filed a libel lawsuit against Arnold Schwarzenegger and two of his staff members, spokesman Sean Walsh and publicist Sheryl Main. The lawsuit was in response to their comments about her claims that Schwarzenegger had groped her during a press event in London in 2000. The trio was accused of stating in a newspaper article that she had fabricated the claim. The case was eventually settled out of court in 2006.

Anna Clare Richardson was born on September 27, 1970, in Shropshire, England. Her parents are Janet, a religious education teacher, and Canon Jim Richardson. She attended The School of St Mary and St Anne in Abbots Bromley village, Staffordshire.
Anna is bisexual and was in a long-term relationship with British TV producer Charles Martin for eighteen years. After their separation, she began dating Sue Perkins, a British comedian, broadcaster, presenter, actress, and writer. The two first met at a Halloween party in 2013.
Anna has experienced and successfully overcome serious mental health issues, including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, and agoraphobia. She is passionate about helping others who face similar challenges.
