Areana Lopez is an American competitive dancer who gained fame as a member of the Abby Lee Dance Company Mini Team and appeared on the reality dance show ‘Dance Moms.’ With experience dancing at various studios, including Onstage Dance Center, Dolce Dance Studio, and Just Plain Dancin’, Lopez is currently showcasing her talent at K2 Studios in Apple Valley. Having started dancing at the age of two, she has won numerous competitions and even taken on modeling assignments for her mother’s dancewear company, Kandi Kouture. Despite her busy schedule, Lopez remains dedicated to her studies and maintains a close bond with her family.

Career
Areana Lopez began dancing at the age of two. She went on to participate in several competitions and even managed to win many of them, including Starbound and Spotlight. She then made her debut in the dance competition show ‘Dance Moms,’ where she appeared as a part of the Abby Lee Dance Company Mini Team. During her time on the show, Lopez gave a number of performances. She performed solo on the songs “Princess Wonderland” and “For My Brother” on season 6 of ‘Dance Moms.’ She also gave an acrobatic dance performance with Elliana Walmsley on the song “Float like a Butterfly”. During seasons 6 and 7, the young dancer also performed in a group. She has performed alongside fellow dancers Alexus Oladi, Elliana Walmsley, Lilliana Ketchman, and Peyton Evans among others and has given brilliant performances on the songs “Girls Are Gonna Save the World”, “Just Like My Mamma Said”, “Wherever You Wait”, and “Everything is Wonderful”.
Personal Life
Areana Lopez was born on May 21, 2005 in the United States to Sari and Miguel Lopez. Her mother runs a dancewear company called Kandi Kouture. She has two sisters Maiya and Contessa as well as a brother named Jordan. Her brother is disabled and cannot walk or talk. Areana used to dance at the same dance studio as the popular Quinn sisters. The young dancer dances for about 20 hours every week. Her favorite television program is ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’ Her favorite dance styles are lyrical, contemporary, and ballet. She dreams of becoming a choreographer one day. An avid animal lover, she has five dogs and many fishes.
