Christened Destiny Hope Cyrus, Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992, in Nashville, Tennessee. Her parents are Billy Ray Cyrus, a country musician, and Letitia Jean Tish. She had a close relationship with her paternal grandfather. Miley was raised in Franklin, Tennessee, and attended Heritage Elementary School.
