Ava Michelle Cota first gained attention when she appeared on the reality TV show Dance Moms during its third season. She continued to appear on the show for several seasons, with her favorite performance being The Rapture. However, she was eventually kicked off the show due to her height, as she was taller than most of her fellow dancers. What Makes Ava So Special
From a young age, Ava Michelle Cota had a passion for both acting and dancing. She started dancing at the age of two and continued her training at her mother’s studio. Her dancing styles include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and freestyle. In 2014, she was crowned Miss Pre-Teen Galaxy International. The following year, she dedicated herself to rigorous training, spending up to 30 hours per week with her personal ballet teacher and at the BDA. In addition to her dancing talents, Ava is also skilled in athletics, including aerobics, swimming, and gymnastics.

Ava Michelle Cota has participated in numerous dance competitions over the years and has trained extensively at the Broadway Dance Studio and with other tutors. She has also been involved in charitable events, such as the Move the World charity event in 2014, where she performed a contemporary number. She is also a member of the Mob Squad, a group of hip-hop dancers for the Detroit Pistons. In 2015, Ava performed at an event held by Cabaret for a Cause, which aimed to raise funds for the needy and raise awareness among people.

Ava Michelle Cota’s mother, Jeanette Cota, is the owner of the Broadway Dance Academy studio in Fenton, Michigan. Jeanette, a former model and dance teacher, has played an active role in Ava’s dance career and personally oversees her progress. Ava is also talented in singing and in 2015, she wrote and performed a song called “Shine Thru Me” in memory of her late father. The song beautifully expresses her loss and the impact her father had on her life.
