Early Life
Elphaba Orion Doherty is from Barnstaple, England. In March 2020, she posted her debut TikTok clip, featuring her pet hamster. Elphaba was born male and was initially named Ryan. At age 14, she came out as transgender. She chose the name Elphaba, inspired by the witch of the musical Wicked, and took up Orion as her middle name after the constellation of the same name.

Elphaba has made a name for herself as not just a TikTok star but also as a singer and musical theater actor. Best known for her TikTok account, itselphabaoriondoherty, she mostly posts updates from her life and her music career. On Halloween 2022, she posted a TikTok clip showing her applying green face paint on fellow TikToker Max Balegde.
A talented performer, she became a household name with her appearance on Autism’s Got Talent 2022 in London. She got a standing ovation for her cover of Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked. She also enchanted her audiences with her rendition of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way at the Brighton Pride Festival.
