Career: Halle Pitman’s Rise as Part of The Pitman Sisters
Halle Pitman is a competitive dancer. She began her journey on social media as part of the TikTok trio The Pitman Sisters. As a member of the TikTok content-creating group, she and her two sisters, Hasley and Hope, post dance videos, parody clips, and lip-syncs on their collective TikTok account, thepitmansisters.
The sisters began sharing content on TikTok in December 2019. The account has gained over 1.5 million followers and 34.9 million hearts. Surprisingly, their popularity has soared during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The trio was previously known as HPTimes3, as the HP stood for the initials of all three sisters. The sisters were already aware of TikTok but began posting content on it regularly only after they were forced to stay indoors after their schools closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is believed their mother motivated them to create videos for TikTok together. They began posting videos regularly in April 2020.
The first video of the trio that gained over a million views was a dance video set to a song by TisaKorean. They then gained popularity with a video set to the song Pokerface.
Halle Pitman and her sisters have collaborated with other popular social-media influencers such as Addison Rae and Jack and James Wright, for their TikTok dance videos.
Halle’s personal account on Instagram, halle.pitman, has gained over 22.6 thousand followers. It states that she is part of the Britney Boyd Dance Company and the Revel Dance Convention.
The Pitman sisters’ collective account on Instagram, thepitmansisters, has over 32.2 thousand followers. The sisters are on Snapchat as hpxthree.
Their YouTube account, Pitman Sisters, has gained over 15.9 thousand subscribers and 185 thousand views. They launched the channel on June 22, 2020, amid the panic that the U.S. might ban TikTok. The channel has a few travel vlogs and a Q&A video.
Trivia
While Halle and Hasley have been trained in dance, Hope is relatively new to dance. However, they look alike and are equally brilliant in all their collaborative videos.
The sisters’ father has often been featured on their videos. Their videos also feature their pets: three dogs, Storm, Brea, and Sadie; two cats; and a pig named Tessa.
Hasley, the eldest of the three, graduated from the University of Florida through an online graduation ceremony (due to the pandemic), while Hope is a senior at the Bishop Kenny school and is attending courses online.
The sisters have also signed with talent agency WME and have taken multiple trips to Los Angeles to collaborate with other social-media content creators.
However, they do not consider moving to Los Angeles permanently as of now, as they are attached to Jacksonville. Their father grew up with his whole family there. Their mother has been living there since high school.
The sisters had a fulfilling childhood and often went fishing, tubing, and waterskiing on the St. Johns River. They also enjoyed Jaguars and Jumbo Shrimp games. They believe their parents are their biggest support.
Halle Pitman loves the Starbucks drink iced caramel macchiato. The sisters are fond of clothing brands such as Zara, H&M, and Urban Outfitters.
