Childhood & Early Life

Jimmy Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Solofa Fatu, was born on August 22, 1985, in San Francisco, California, USA. His father, Solofa F. Fatu Jr., is a professional wrestler known as Rikishi. Jimmy has a twin brother named Jey, as well as three other siblings.

Growing up, Jimmy and his brother had a passion for American football and aspired to become NFL players. However, they also had a fascination with wrestling, as their father would often take them to matches and they had the opportunity to interact with professional wrestlers backstage.

Jimmy attended Escambia High School in Pensacola, Florida, where he excelled as a football player. After graduating, he enrolled at the University of West Alabama on a partial scholarship and continued to play football as a linebacker. His twin brother also played football for the same university.

Career

Despite their dreams of becoming professional football players, Jimmy and his brother eventually turned to professional wrestling. They started working at a furniture store and competed at wrestling events in their free time. They moved to Houston, Texas, to train under their uncle and professional wrestler Umaga.

Jimmy made his professional wrestling debut in 2007 at the World Xtreme Wrestling (WXW) promotion in Florida. He teamed up with his brother for the first time in a tag team match. They later competed in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and became the FCW Florida Tag Team Champions.

In 2010, Jimmy and his brother made their debut in WWE under the tag team division. They formed a team called “The Usos” and had a long-standing feud with “The Hart Dynasty.” They continued to compete in WWE and won the WWE Tag Team Championship multiple times.

Throughout his career, Jimmy has had solo fights and also teamed up with his brother and other wrestlers. He has had notable victories and achievements, including winning the Slammy Award for Tag Team of the Year in 2015.

Family & Personal Life

Jimmy has two children from a previous relationship, named Jayla Fatu and Jaiden Fatu. He has not publicly revealed the name of their mother. On January 16, 2014, Jimmy married his long-time girlfriend and fellow WWE wrestler Trinity McCray, who is known by her ring name Naomi.
