Hayden Joseph Griffin, also known as Tofuu or forsaken, is an American YouTube star and social media personality. With over two million followers on his YouTube channel, Tofuu has gained popularity for his Roblox videos. Originally from Idaho, he started his YouTube journey with a Lego channel before transitioning to Tofuugaming in 2011. While Minecraft was initially his main focus, Tofuu later became involved in the Cube SMP series and eventually shifted his attention to creating Roblox content. Apart from his main channel, Tofuu also has secondary channels for vlogging and Fortnite-related content.

The Meteoric Rise to Fame
Joe set up his first YouTube channel sometime in 2010. While little information is available on his first YouTube venture, it is known that he posted Lego toy reviews there. At some point, he completely stopped posting videos on it.

Early YouTube Career
On April 25, 2011, Joe opened the ‘Tofuugaming’ account on YouTube. His first video on the channel was posted exactly four months later, on August 25, 2011. Titled ‘Minecraft: How to Make a TNT Cannon with a Custom Speed’, the video is often viewed by his new fans who want to know about the content he posted in the early days of his YouTube career. During this period, he predominantly uploaded Minecraft videos and also made some videos on other games. On April 12, 2015, he uploaded a face-reveal video on his channel. Sometime later, he participated in the series Cube SMP and devoted his complete attention to the series. Following its conclusion, he began making Roblox videos. While he still made content on Minecraft, they were becoming less frequent. Eventually, he entirely ceased making Minecraft videos. On December 31, 2017, he crossed the milestone of one million subscribers. He reached two million on September 16, 2018.
Expansion into Vlogging and Fortnite
On October 4, 2017, Joe set up his vlog channel, ‘JoeG.’ His first vlog went up on July 13, 2018. He created his Fortnite channel on September 13, 2018, and uploaded the first video two days later. By creating the channel, he joined his associates and collaborators who had already set up their own Fortnite channel. Over the years, Joe has been part of two prominent groups: The Crew & Friends and Cube SMP.

Born on November 1, 1998, in Sun Valley, Idaho, Joe Griffin developed a deep passion for gaming and social media quite early in his life. He witnessed the astronomical success that YouTubers like Pewdiepie achieved with “let’s play” content and wanted to emulate it. When he became active on social media, content on games like Lego and Minecraft was garnering popularity.
Joe was raised along with his brother and was homeschooled. At present, he reportedly resides with fellow YouTubers Poke and Ant.
