After studying theatre in Leeds, Emma Mackey worked briefly as a model before venturing into acting. In 2016, she appeared in the horror television film ‘Badger Lane’, directed by Shay Nicole Collins. The film received positive reviews and won the Best Film Drama award at the National Student Television Association Awards.
Her next appearance was in the 2018 drama film ‘Summit Fever’, which tells the story of two mountaineers attempting to climb three mountains in the Alps.
