Childhood & Early Life

Kaniehtiio Horn was born in Ottawa, Canada, on 8 November 1986. She grew up in Ottawa, as well as the Kahnawake Mohawk reserve outside of Montreal. Her father was a lawyer, and her mother, Kahn-Tineta Horn, was a former model and a political activist.

At an early age, Kaniehtiio decided to pursue a career in acting. She was also interested in swimming and water polo.
