Career
Lauren Holly began her acting career in 1984 with appearances in two episodes of ‘Hill Street Blues’. She then went on to star in the films ‘Seven Minutes in Heaven’ and ‘Band of the Hand’. Following this, she joined the cast of the drama series ‘All My Children’. In 1990, she appeared in the television movie ‘Archie: To Riverdale and Back Again’ and the film ‘The Adventures of Ford Fairlane’. Two years later, Holly landed the role of Maxine Stewart in the drama ‘Picket Fences’. She also starred in the comedy film ‘Dumb and Dumber’. From 1996 to 1998, she appeared in several movies including ‘Beautiful Girls’, ‘Down Periscope’, ‘Turbulence’, ‘A Smile Like Yours’, and ‘No Looking Back’. She also had roles in the drama series ‘Chicago Hope’ and the film ‘Any Given Sunday’. In the following years, Holly appeared in various television movies such as ‘Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot’, ‘King of Texas’, ‘Living with the Dead’, ‘Just Desserts’, and ‘Caught in the Act’. She attended Geneva High School and later earned her undergraduate degree in English from Sarah Lawrence College. Holly has been married three times, first to Danny Quinn, then to Jim Carrey, and currently to Francis Greco. She is currently single. The American-Canadian actress also has three children from her previous relationships.
