Family & Married Life
For an avid soccer fan and a remarkable player like Liza, nothing could have been more exciting than to get married to an ‘NFL’ player. She is married to American ‘NFL’ player Ryan Fitzpatrick. He plays as a quarterback for the ‘Tampa Bay Buccaneers.’
Liza and Ryan met for the first time at ‘Harvard University.’ Both graduated from the university in the same year. Soccer has always been one of the major factors of their relationship. After completing graduation, Liza and Ryan moved in together but kept their relationship a secret.
Liza and Ryan got engaged in November 2006, during Ryan’s ‘NFL’ rookie season. They had a joint bank account, which Ryan used later to buy the engagement ring for Liza. He hid the ring in his car and picked Liza up for a date. They then shopped at a local ‘Gap’ store. When Liza tried using the card of the joint account for the payment, it was rejected. Ryan realized that Liza would soon find about the missing amount and thus decided to propose to her much sooner than he had planned. He finally made the proposal at a ‘McDonald’s’ joint while Liza was munching her favorite chicken nuggets.
The same year, Liza and Ryan got married at a private event. The couple is now blessed with two sons, Tate and Brady, and four daughters, Ruby, Maizy, Zoey, and Lucy. Liza and Ryan are expecting their seventh child in January 2019.
Liza and Ryan have an unspoken commitment of not removing their wedding rings in any situation. Ryan is always spotted wearing the ring, even when he is on the field.
