Childhood & Early Life

Mario was born on December 4, 1988, in Bangkok, Thailand. His father loved Italian motorcycles, so Mario was given an Italian name. He is of Thai Chinese and German ethnicity and is fluent in Thai and English. His parents owned gas stations when he was young and later started a business in the production and export of deodorants. Mario has an older brother named Marco and attended St. Dominic Savio Catholic School in Bangkok. He studied Communication Arts at Ramkhamhaeng University and recently earned his master’s degree in Political Communication from Krirk University.

Modeling & Early Career

At the age of 16, Mario was approached by a scout with a modeling offer at Siam Square. He accepted the offer and began his modeling career. He did photo shoots and appeared in commercials before making his debut in a leading role in the film “Love of Siam” in 2007. He won the Best Actor award at the Starpics Thai Films Award for his role in the film.
