Childhood & Early Life

Milena Markovna Kunis was born on August 14, 1983, in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. Her parents, Mark Kunis and Elvira, relocated the family to Los Angeles when she was seven years old. She attended Rosewood Elementary School and began taking acting lessons at the age of nine. Kunis made her television debut in 1994 on the show “Days of Our Lives” and went on to star in minor roles in films such as “Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves” and “Santa with Muscles”. In 1998, she landed her first major role as Jackie Burkhart in the sitcom “That ’70s Show”. She also lent her voice to the character Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom “Family Guy”. Kunis attended Hubert Howe Bancroft Middle School and Fairfax High School before briefly studying at UCLA and Loyola Marymount University.
