He developed his passion for singing at the age of 8-9 and received voice lessons from Evelyn Halus. His family friend, rapper and Black Eyed Peas member, played a significant role in encouraging him to write his own music. He was also inspired by the music of English singer and songwriter Ed Sheeran.
