Paul Walker IV was born on September 12, 1973, in Glendale, California, U.S. His parents were Cheryl Crabtree, a fashion model, and Paul William Walker III, a sewer contractor and fighter. He had four younger siblings. Walker began modeling as a toddler and appeared in a Pampers commercial. He also took on roles in television series such as ‘Charles in Charge’, ‘Highway to Heaven’, and ‘Who’s the Boss’. In 1986, he made his film debut in the horror/comedy film ‘Monster in the Closet’. He graduated from Sun Valley’s Village Christian School in 1991 and initially pursued marine biology before deciding to focus on acting.


In 1993, Walker played Brandon Collins on the CBS soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’, which earned him a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a soap opera at the Youth in Film Awards.
