Pauley Jones was born on March 27, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She spent her childhood in various states including Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, New Jersey, and California. During her childhood, she developed a fascination for animals and had aspirations of working with them or being in a rock and roll band. She also had a desire to become an FBI agent.
