Paz Vega was born as María Paz Campos Trigo on January 2, 1976, in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. She grew up in a traditional Catholic family and has a younger sister named Sara Vega, who is also an actress. After completing her compulsory education at the age of 16, Paz Vega enrolled at the Centro Andaluz de Teatro stage school.

Career

Paz Vega made her TV debut in the Spanish series ‘Menudo es mi padre’. She then appeared in the series ‘Más que amigos’ and ‘Compañeros’. After this, she went on to act in the 1999 films ‘Zapping’ and ‘Sobreviviré’. In 2001, she was cast as Lucía in the film ‘Lucía y el sexo’. A year later, she played Sonia in the music comedy film ‘El otro lado de la cama’. Following this, Vega had a role in the drama movie ‘Carmen’.

In 2004, she played the role of Flor Moreno in the movie ‘Spanglish’. After this, she got the opportunity to act in the independent film ’10 Items or Less’. The Spanish artiste then appeared in the neo-noir superhero movie ‘The Spirit’ in 2008. Two years later, she was cast as Antonella D’Agostino in the Italian crime flick ‘Angel of Evil’.
