Rossif Sutherland began his acting career in 2003 with his role as François Dontelle in the film ‘Timeline’. That same year, he had a recurring role in the drama series ‘ER’ and also guest-starred in an episode of ‘Monk’. In 2006, Sutherland was cast as Gabe in the film ‘I’m Reed Fish’, and the following year, he played Donnie Rose in ‘Poor Boy’s Game’. He went on to star in the films ‘High Life’ and ‘The Con Artist’. In 2011, Sutherland appeared in the movie ‘I’m Yours’, and in 2012, he played Detective Pen Martin in the drama series ‘King’. He also appeared in the television movie ‘An Officer and a Murderer’ that same year. Sutherland continued his career with roles in the series ‘Crossing Lines’ and ‘Reign’, as well as the show ‘Unité 9’ in 2014. In 2015, he guest-starred in three episodes of ‘Haven’ and appeared in the films ‘Hellions’, ‘Hyena Road’, and ‘River’. Rossif Sutherland was born on September 25, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He is the son of Canadian actor Donald Sutherland and his wife Francine Racette. Sutherland has two brothers, Angus and Roeg, as well as a half-brother, actor Kiefer, and a half-sister, Rachel. He was named after French TV and film director Frédéric Rossif and lived in Paris from the age of seven. Sutherland attended Princeton University, where he studied philosophy.
In 2016, Sutherland married British actress Celina Sinden. The couple has a son named Theodore Sutherland.
