Career

Tameka Harris began her career in 1992 when she joined the R&B quartet ‘Xscape’. The group released three albums, ‘Hummin’ Comin’ at ‘Cha’, ‘Traces of My Lipstick’, and ‘Off the Hook’, with Harris contributing to six songs. These songs included hits like ‘Understanding’, ‘All I Need’, and ‘My Little Secret’. In 1998, ‘Xscape’ disbanded and Harris focused on her solo career. However, she later reunited with her former bandmates Tamika Scott and LaTocha and released the album ‘Unchained’ in 2005, followed by the single ‘What’s Up’.

Four years later, Harris appeared in the reality show ‘Tiny and Toya’, and in 2011, her own show ‘T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle’ premiered on VH1. In 2014, she made a comeback in the music industry with her single ‘What The Fuck You Gon Do?’ and also starred in the show ‘Tiny and Shekinah’s Weave Trip’ alongside her best friend.

Harris attended Tri-Cities Performing Arts High School. She began dating rapper T.I. in 2000 and they got married in 2010. The couple has three children together: two sons named King Harris and Major Philant Harris, and a daughter named Heiress Diana Harris. Harris also has another daughter named Zonnique Jailee Pullins from a previous relationship. In 2016, Tameka and T.I. ended their marriage.
